Web and mobile application development

A web application runs in a browser and a mobile application runs on a phone or tablet. We build both for customers, staff and partners. The Nexoviz team takes a project from idea to launch.

Who it is for

It suits businesses that want customers to book, order or track something themselves, staff to work from the field, or partners to log in to a shared area.

Corporate websites are covered by website development, and online stores by e-commerce. This page is for applications people log in and use.

What we do

Depending on your idea, an application project can include the following.

  • Customer portals

A logged-in area where customers see orders, documents or requests.

  • Staff tools

Apps for tasks such as job updates, checklists or approvals on the move.

  • Partner access

A shared space for agents, suppliers or other partners.

  • Accounts and permissions

Log-in, roles and what each user may see or change.

  • Notifications

Messages that tell users when something needs their attention.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Shape the idea

Agree who the users are and what they need to do.
  2. Step 2: Sketch the screens

Review simple layouts before any building starts.
  3. Step 3: Build and test

Develop in stages and test on the devices your users have.
  4. Step 4: Launch

Publish the application and check it works as planned. Publishing a mobile app usually involves the review rules of the app stores, which we explain when we scope.
  5. Step 5: Support

Agree how fixes and improvements are handled afterwards.

What we need from you

A rough idea is enough to start a conversation.

  • The goal

What the application should help people do.

  • The users

Who they are, what devices they use and how often they will log in.

  • Examples

Apps or sites you like, and what you like about them.

  • Connections

Existing systems the application needs to read from or write to.

Web, mobile or both?

A web application works on any device with a browser and is often the quickest way to start. A mobile application can suit tasks done on the move or needing the phone's own features. Some businesses start with one and add the other. We talk through who uses it, where and how often before recommending a route.

It also helps to start with the smallest version that is genuinely useful. A first release that does a few things well can be tried by real users, and what they say shapes what is added next, instead of guessing at every feature on day one.

Frequently asked questions

Should I build a web app or a mobile app?
It depends on who uses it and how. We talk it through with you, and some projects start with a web application and add a mobile one later.
Can one project cover both?
Often yes, in stages. The scope is agreed with you so that the first release is clear.
Who owns the application?
Ownership and licensing are agreed in writing before the project starts.
How is user data handled?
Data handling is agreed in writing for each project, including who has access to user details.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
Both depend on scope, so we do not publish fixed fees or timelines. Describe your idea and we will discuss it.
Can customers and staff use different parts of the same application?
Yes. Access is usually organised by role, so customers, staff and partners each see only what is meant for them. We agree the roles with you when we sketch the screens.
