Business advisory and planning services

Some decisions are too big to make on instinct. This page explains the planning support we can discuss with you, including business plans, feasibility, restructuring, succession and transaction support, and how a first conversation works.

Who it suits

Advisory support is commonly used by founders testing a new idea, owners considering a new market or product, family businesses thinking about who runs the company next, and companies weighing a restructuring, a sale or a purchase.

It is a discussion and planning service. It does not replace the specialist advice a lawyer or tax adviser would give on a particular transaction.

Areas we can discuss

Scope is agreed with you and often combines more than one area.

  • Business plans

Setting out the idea, the market, the costs and the numbers in a document that you, a partner or a lender can read.

  • Feasibility studies

Testing whether a project, location or product is likely to work on the assumptions you hold, and showing which assumptions matter most.

  • Restructuring

Looking at how a group or company is organised and what changing it would involve, such as merging entities or separating activities.

  • Succession planning

Thinking through who takes over, how ownership passes on and what needs to be documented, with legal documents prepared by licensed professionals.

  • Transaction support

Helping organise the financial information that buyers, sellers or investors ask for in a merger, acquisition or investment.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Talk through your goals

Describe what you want to achieve and what is holding you back.
  2. Step 2: Agree the question

Turn the goal into a clear question, a scope and a list of information needed.
  3. Step 3: Analyse and draft

The Nexoviz team gathers the figures, builds the analysis and drafts the document or recommendation.
  4. Step 4: Discuss and decide

We go through the findings with you. The decision remains yours.

What we need from you

  • Your goals and constraints

What you want, by when and what you will not do.

  • Financial information

Recent reports, budgets and forecasts, where they exist.

  • Structure details

Ownership, entities and key agreements, for restructuring or succession work.

  • Market knowledge

What you already know about customers, competitors and costs.

What advisory support cannot do

Plans rest on assumptions and cannot predict the market, so we do not promise results. Legal documents, tax opinions and regulated steps in a restructuring or transaction are carried out by licensed or eligible professionals, and requirements are set by the relevant authority. We can help you prepare and coordinate.

Frequently asked questions

Can you write a business plan for a bank or investor?
We can help prepare the plan and the figures behind it. Whether a bank or investor accepts it is their decision, so we cannot promise funding.
What does a feasibility study cover?
It tests whether an idea is likely to work, using your assumptions about costs, demand and timing. The agreed scope sets which of these it covers.
Can you handle a sale or purchase of a company?
We can support with financial information and planning. Legal documents and regulated steps in a transaction are handled by licensed professionals.
Do you advise on family succession?
We can help you map the issues and gather information. Wills, trusts and ownership documents are prepared by licensed legal professionals, and we do not give legal advice.
How long does an advisory project take?
It depends on the question and on how quickly information reaches us. We do not quote fixed timelines. Describe your goal and we will discuss it.
