Business reports and analytics dashboards

Reports and dashboards turn the sales, cost and stock data you already keep into views you can read at a glance. The Nexoviz team scopes what you need to see, builds it and shows your team how to use it.

Who it is for

It suits owners and managers who ask for the same figures each month and wait for someone to compile them, or who hold data in several places and cannot see the whole picture.

What we do

A project can include the following.

  • Dashboards

One screen showing the figures you check most, such as sales, costs and stock.

  • Scheduled reports

Reports prepared on a regular schedule and sent to the people who need them.

  • Drill-down

Click from a total to the entries behind it.

  • Combined data

Bring figures from different files or systems into one report.

  • Exports

Download tables for your accountant, partners or board.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Decide the questions

List what you want to know and who needs to know it.
  2. Step 2: Check the data

Review where the figures come from and how complete they are.
  3. Step 3: Design and build

Draft the reports with you, build them and test the numbers against your records.
  4. Step 4: Hand over

Explain how to read and update them and agree who maintains them.

What we need from you

Reports can only be as complete as the records behind them.

  • Your questions

The decisions you want the figures to support.

  • Access to the data

The files or systems that hold your sales, costs and stock.

  • Sample reports

Any report you produce today, however rough.

  • Readers

Who will see each report and how often.

Reading figures with care

A dashboard shows what is in your records, not more. If entries are late, duplicated or missing, the totals will reflect that. We note data gaps during scoping, label each figure so readers know where it comes from and agree who keeps the underlying records up to date.

Start with a few reports that people will actually read. A short set that answers real questions is more useful than a crowded dashboard. Once those are working, further reports can be added in later stages.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need clean data first?
Clean data helps, but it is not always a precondition. We review your records during scoping and tell you what needs fixing.
Are these financial statements?
No. These are business reports and dashboards from your data. For management accounts and financial statements, see the financial reporting page.
Can I change the dashboards myself?
That can be agreed during scoping. Some businesses prefer to request changes from us, others want to edit them directly.
Who can see the reports?
Access is agreed with you, and data handling is set out in writing for each project.
What does it cost?
We do not publish fixed fees or timelines. Cost depends on how many reports and data sources are involved, and we discuss it after your enquiry.
Can reports combine data from different systems?
Often yes, depending on how each system can share its data. We check this during scoping. If combining data needs a connection between systems, we describe that as a separate step, so you can see what it involves.
