API and system integration services

Integration connects the systems you already use, such as accounting, sales and your website, so data moves between them without retyping. The Nexoviz team scopes each connection, builds it and tests it with you.

Who it is for

It suits businesses that enter the same information into two or more systems, that export and import files by hand, or that cannot get a single view because their tools do not talk to each other.

What we do

An integration project can include the following.

  • Connecting two systems

Move agreed records, such as customers or orders, from one system to another.

  • Website connections

Pass enquiries, orders or bookings from your website into your internal systems.

  • Scheduled transfers

Move data at times you choose instead of whenever someone remembers.

  • Matching and checks

Rules that catch duplicates or missing fields before data is passed on.

  • Problem alerts

Agree who is told, and how, if a transfer fails.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Map the data

Note what moves, from where, to where and how often.
  2. Step 2: Check what is possible

Confirm whether each system offers a way to connect, and what it allows.
  3. Step 3: Build and test

Run sample records through the connection and compare the results.
  4. Step 4: Hand over

Document what was built and agree who watches it and how changes are made.

What we need from you

What is possible depends on the systems involved.

  • The systems

Which tools you want connected and who looks after each one.

  • Data to move

The records and fields involved, and which system is the main source.

  • Access

Permission from the owners of each system to connect to it.

  • Sample records

Examples to test with, ideally without sensitive details.

What can go wrong, and how we plan for it

Connected systems change. A supplier may alter how its system shares data, a field may be renamed, or a record may arrive incomplete. We build checks for missing data, agree how failures are noticed and who deals with them, and document the connection so that changes can be made without guesswork.

Even a well-built connection needs an owner. We suggest naming one person on your side who knows what the connection does, who to call when it stops, and who must be told before either system is upgraded or replaced.

Frequently asked questions

Can any two systems be connected?
Not always. It depends on whether each system offers a way to connect and on what that allows. We check this before we agree the scope.
What does API mean?
It is a defined way for one piece of software to talk to another. You do not need to understand the technical detail to ask us about it.
What if a connection fails?
We agree in advance how failures are noticed and who deals with them, so a problem does not go unseen. Alerts can go to a named person, so the first sign of trouble reaches someone who can act on it.
How is data handled while it moves?
Data handling is agreed in writing for each project, including which data moves and who can see it.
What does it cost?
We do not publish fixed fees or timelines. Cost depends on the number and complexity of the connections, and we discuss it after your enquiry.
Can you connect systems that are not cloud-based?
Sometimes. It depends on whether the system can share data in a usable way. We review each system before agreeing the scope, and tell you if a connection is not practical.
